Kashipur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 46.24 crore in Kashipur on 4 November 2025. The projects aim to boost regional development, provide better facilities to local residents, and create employment opportunities.
New Phase of Development in Kashipur
Mayor Deepak Bali stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, the government is committed to extending development to every corner of the state. Since taking office, the municipal corporation of Kashipur has successfully executed development works worth over Rs 100 crore in phases.
The projects to be inaugurated and laid today include:
- Rs 30.73 crore for construction of 159 roads and drainage systems.
- Rs 5.62 crore for 69 essential development works.
- Rs 3.40 crore for a gas-based animal crematorium.
- Rs 3.75 crore for a computerized control room.
- Rs 2.74 crore for PCC tile paving on National Highway roads, including Bajpur Road and Manpur Road.
Major Infrastructure Works Underway
Mayor Bali highlighted that under the first, second, and third phases of road construction, 505 roads are being built in the municipal area, with approximately 70% of the work already completed.
The gas-based animal crematorium will provide proper facilities for the disposal of stray animals. The computerized control room will digitally monitor all 40 municipal wards, manage municipal vehicles, and ensure faster resolution of public complaints.
Environment-Friendly Initiatives
With funding from the State Pollution Control Board, PCC tiles are being laid over 3,850 meters on Ramnagar Road and Manpur Road at a cost of Rs 3.05 crore, helping reduce air pollution and making the city cleaner and more attractive.
Additionally, Rs 1.20 crore is being spent on vertical gardens, green benches, flower beds, and plantation drives to enhance the city’s beauty and improve environmental balance.
Officials and Councillors Applaud Development Efforts
The press conference was attended by Municipal Commissioner Ravindra Singh Bisht and several councillors, including Gunjan Prajapati, Beena Negi, Sanjay Sharma, Pushkar Bisht, Abdul Qadir, Sarfaraz Mohammad, Anil Kumar, Prince Bali, Shivansh Gole, Vaishali Gupta, and Seema Sagar. All attendees praised the municipal corporation’s development efforts under Mayor Deepak Bali and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dhami for his support.
