Visakhapatnam: In a significant gesture of appreciation, Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), a premier Defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, honoured Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, during his visit to the Shipyard.

HSL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Commodore Girideep Singh, along with the shipyard’s functional directors, extended heartfelt gratitude to Vice Admiral Pendharkar for his strategic leadership, vision, and unwavering support. His contributions have been pivotal in driving HSL’s transformation into a modern, efficient, and self-reliant defence shipbuilding facility.
CMD Singh praised the Admiral’s focus on strengthening naval-industrial collaboration and his advocacy for Make in India in the defence sector.

During his address at the shipyard, Vice Admiral Pendharkar lauded HSL for its remarkable evolution into a cutting-edge Defence PSU, capable of executing complex naval projects. He acknowledged the Shipyard’s critical role in supporting the Indian Navy through –
