New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) today recommended Mr. Vishwanath Suresh for the position of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of MOIL Limited, a Schedule A Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The recommendation was made during the PESB meeting held on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Experienced Leader with Three Decades in Mining and Manufacturing
Currently serving as the Director (Commercial) at NMDC, Mr. Vishwanath Suresh brings over 30 years of rich experience in the mining and manufacturing sectors. An alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, he holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Additionally, he earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing and completed an Advanced Strategic Management course from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode.

Versatile Career with Leadership Roles at NMDC and SAIL
Before his current role at NMDC, Mr. Suresh served as Executive Director (Coal Import) and held additional charge as Executive Director (Corporate Materials Management) at the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). His versatile expertise spans sales and marketing of steel products in domestic and international markets, procurement, strategic management, and policy formulation.
