A packed lecture hall of the India International Centre on February 14, 2025, was witness to the launch of a web series on Artificial Intelligence & Beyond: Humanity at Crossroads. Former Cabinet Secretary Mr. Prabhat Kumar pressed a button and the first episode of the web series started streaming live on Indian Masterminds’ YouTube channel.

The first episode titled ‘AI Impacting Lives Everywhere’ features well-known futurist and former Secretary, Corporate Affairs Ministry of Government of India, Mr. Anurag Goel, in conversation with Mr. Sharad Gupta, Editor of Indian Masterminds. Mr. Goel has discussed various dimensions of AI right from present-day life to the best future, about five years down the line.
The launch was followed by Mr. Anurag Goel delivering the second annual lecture for the IC Centre for Governance. The 45-minute lecture laced with a number of photographs and films, mostly produced using Artificial Intelligence, was so captivating that the discerning audience remained spellbound.
The lecture was followed by a question-and-answer session during which Mr. Goel replied to all queries very patiently and with in-depth answers. The audience, comprising mostly serving and retired civil servants, appreciated Mr. Goel’s grasp on the subject.
The lecture was preceded by Mr. Prabhat Kumar, head of the IC Centre for Governance, introducing the subject, and Mr. Goel. The program was moderated by Mr. Mahesh Kapoor.
