Davos: In a significant development at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026, global technology giant Google has expressed keen interest in investing in the IT, IT-enabled services (ITES), and data center sectors in Madhya Pradesh, marking a major boost to the state’s ambitions of becoming an emerging technology hub.

On Tuesday in Davos, senior officials of the Madhya Pradesh government held detailed discussions with Sanjay Gupta, President of Google’s Asia Pacific region, focusing on existing and proposed IT, ITES, and data center projects in the state.
