New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Deepak Hilori (IPS: 2011, Punjab cadre) has been appointed as Director (Vigilance – Police) in the Railway Board in the DIG grade, on deputation basis, according to an order from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). His tenure will continue until December 25, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Hilori’s appointment follows a distinguished career both in the Punjab Police and on central deputation, including his recent role as Zonal Director in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a post he has held since December 26, 2023.
