Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted the weekly ‘Janata Darshan’ at his official residence in Lucknow, personally listening to grievances from people across the state. A significant number of soldiers, ex-servicemen, and their family members attended the program to raise issues related to border security, internal security, financial assistance, and other administrative matters.
Soldiers Reassured About Security and Family Welfare
During the event, CM Yogi Adityanath assured soldiers and their families that the government is fully committed to their safety, respect, and welfare. He emphasized:
“Serve the nation without worries. Your families, along with the 25 crore citizens of the state, are under the government’s protection. We have been serious about this since the first day.”
He instructed administrative and police officials to address the problems of soldiers and ex-servicemen promptly within stipulated timeframes, ensuring proper resolution and satisfaction of affected families.
Priority for Border and Internal Security Personnel
The Chief Minister specifically directed authorities to prioritize grievances of personnel posted at the borders and internal security roles, saying:
“Soldiers should never face any inconvenience. All issues must be resolved fairly and within the deadline.”
Several petitions received during the program involved ground disputes, police-related matters, economic assistance requests, and transfer issues. CM Yogi reviewed each case carefully, taking petitions and instructing officials to take timely and transparent action.
Support for Medical and Financial Assistance
Families seeking financial support for medical treatment were advised to obtain an estimated cost (hospital estimate) before applying. CM Yogi assured:
“No treatment should be stopped due to lack of funds. The government will provide complete assistance. Take care of the patient; we will ensure funding for treatment.”
This reflects the government’s commitment to healthcare accessibility for all citizens, regardless of financial constraints.
Comprehensive Public Grievance Redressal
Apart from soldiers’ issues, citizens from different districts raised concerns related to police matters, local disputes, and administrative processes. CM Yogi listened attentively, collected petitions, and directed officials for swift and effective redressal, ensuring the public receives timely solutions.
He emphasized fair and legal action in all ground dispute cases, ensuring that all parties are heard and justice is served.
