Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held the monthly Janata Darshan on the first Monday of November, meeting citizens from across Uttar Pradesh and personally addressing their grievances. Over 60 individuals from various districts shared concerns related to police action, land disputes, medical aid, and other local issues. The session highlighted the government’s commitment to citizen welfare and timely grievance redressal.
Citizens Share Grievances on Key Issues
During the Janata Darshan, several complainants expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of police cases, particularly theft incidents where recovery of stolen property was still pending. Citizens also raised concerns regarding land encroachment, delays in government services, and other administrative issues affecting daily life.
A complainant highlighted a case of land encroachment, prompting CM Yogi to order an immediate investigation and removal of the encroachment, underscoring his administration’s zero-tolerance policy toward illegal land occupation.
CM Yogi Assures Timely Resolution and Support
Addressing financial aid requests for medical treatment, the Chief Minister assured citizens of government support. He said, “Get an estimate from the hospital and send it to us. Focus on your patient’s care, leave the rest to us. No one’s treatment will be halted due to a lack of funds. The government has stood by every needy person from the very beginning.”
Officials present during the session were directed to ensure complaints are resolved promptly within a fixed timeframe and to maintain regular feedback to the complainants, ensuring transparency and accountability in grievance redressal.
Focus on Citizen Safety and Welfare
Reiterating the government’s priorities, CM Yogi emphasized that ensuring the safety and dignity of every citizen remains at the forefront of his administration’s agenda. He urged officials to take proactive steps to prevent crime, protect vulnerable sections of society, and provide necessary assistance to those in need.
Warm Interaction with Children
During the session, CM Yogi also met children accompanying the complainants. Affectionately patting their heads and offering chocolates, he encouraged them to excel in studies and engage in healthy activities. “Study hard, play with enthusiasm, and make your parents proud,” he told them, reflecting his personal attention to citizens’ well-being.
Strengthening Public Trust through Janata Darshan
The Janata Darshan session reinforced the Chief Minister’s commitment to open governance and citizen engagement. By personally interacting with complainants, addressing issues directly, and instructing officials to follow up promptly, CM Yogi’s administration aims to build trust, ensure timely assistance, and maintain transparency in all public services.
