SSP Chandigarh tweets photos of Punjab Police officials handing out sweetened electoral water to the public, to get some relief from the heat
As the mercury level rises, a police station in Punjab has embarked upon a noble deed to help the public beat the heat with electoral water. SSP UT Chandigarh Ms. Kanwardeep Singh, a 2008-batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre, tweeted about this appreciable step of the police persons along with few photos of the act.
She wrote: “The summer season is in full swing and mercury setting new records every day. To keep the body hydrated and to serve humanity, police officials of Police Post Palsora organised a Chabeel in which people were served sweetened electrolysed water,” giving the hashtag #WeCareForYou.
