They are the undeclared king of the jungle. The gentle giants, as elephants are often described by forest officials, are also considered to be most intelligent mega-herbivores. A video shared in social media by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda, just strengthens the belief.
In the video an elephant is seen to be lowering an electrified fencing to the ground by pushing a tree on it. As the fencing goes down, the pachyderm easily crosses the gap created in the fence. Intelligent indeed!!
