Indian Masterminds Stories

As we are all aware, Manipur is burning. Nobody seems to be safe in the state as of now, especially the women. In a viral video that has been doing rounds these days, two Manipuri women could be seen getting paraded naked by a large crowd, as they beat and molest her. The incident took place on 29 May but has come to light only now as the internet connection in the state was banned.

As everyone in the country is expressing shame, disgust, and agony over the situation, IPS officer Satwant Atwal also had something to say. In a tweet, that has received lots of views and likes so far, the officer wrote, “Will Manipur ladies’ pain be just another blip in every day events? It hurts the very soul … how could anyone & then a crowd? How could sanity??? So many frustrating questions… when will we give dignity to us? The land of SHAKTI… ??”
