Two top cops have gone out of the way to fumigate the air of apprehension engulfing the police officials in our country. Netizens were awe-struck to watch a video where DGP Rupin Sharma and IPS Sandeep Madhukar Tamgadge sang their heart out at an event. The duo was in good voice and hitting the right notes while singing the iconic retro-Bollywood song, “Yeh Sham Mastani” (by Kishore Da), from the movie “Kati Patang” (1971).

Mr. Rupin Sharma (1992 batch IPS) is the incumbent DGP of Nagaland, and Mr. Sandeep Madhukar Tamgadge is a 2001 batch IPS officer. Videos like this highlight the softer and amicable side of law enforcers of the country, which is rudimentary to the task of policing.
