IAS officer Ms. Supriya Sahu delighted wildlife enthusiasts by sharing a breathtaking video of two snow leopards frolicking in the snow-covered Zanskar region of Ladakh.
The video, originally captured and posted by tour operator Tashi Tsewang, offers a rare and magical glimpse of these elusive creatures in their natural habitat. In her post, Ms. Sahu described the sighting as a “fleeting dance of wild joy,” perfectly capturing the essence of the snow leopards’ graceful movements.

Snow leopards, often referred to as the “ghosts of the mountains” for their elusive nature, are seldom seen even in the regions they inhabit, making this footage an extraordinary treat for nature lovers and conservationists alike.
