Ahead of the crucial Bihar Assembly elections, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed massive public gatherings in Maner and Digha constituencies of Patna district in support of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Mr. Yadav, who has been campaigning in Bihar for seven consecutive days, said that there is a “strong wave of development and trust” in favour of the NDA and expressed confidence that the alliance would form the government once again under the leadership of Mr. Nitish Kumar.

“Bihar Has Transformed in Two Decades,” Says CM Yadav
Highlighting Bihar’s progress over the past 20 years, Mr. Yadav said that the state has witnessed significant infrastructural and social development under NDA’s governance. He reiterated that the people of Bihar have seen visible change in the state’s roads, education, healthcare and governance, reflecting the fruits of consistent policy implementation and visionary leadership.
Mr. Yadav asserted that the continuation of the NDA government is vital for sustaining Bihar’s growth trajectory, noting that “development should not stop due to political instability.”
PM Modi’s Vision and National Achievements Highlighted
During his address, Mr. Yadav also lauded Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s leadership, listing transformative national projects that have reinforced India’s cultural and infrastructural identity. From the historic construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to the development of the Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, Mr. Yadav said that the NDA’s governance model symbolizes progress rooted in heritage and modernity.
He emphasized that these projects demonstrate how the government has worked tirelessly to uphold faith, promote tourism, and boost economic activity, linking local aspirations with national development goals.
CM Yadav Promises Welfare and Empowerment for Women
Highlighting his state’s successful social welfare schemes, Mr. Yadav spoke about the Ladli Behna Yojana, a flagship initiative of the Madhya Pradesh government aimed at empowering women through financial assistance and social inclusion. He assured that similar welfare initiatives will benefit women in Bihar under an NDA government, reinforcing the alliance’s commitment to inclusive growth and gender equality.
Attacks on Opposition Over “Insulting” Remarks
In a sharp criticism of the opposition, Mr. Yadav accused Congress leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi and other opposition figures of using “derogatory language” against Bihar, terming it an insult to the state’s pride and people’s aspirations. He said that such negative politics would not resonate with the people, who are now focused on stability, development and self-respect.
