Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi flagged off 25 eco-friendly e-buses at Ekta Nagar in Kevadia, Gujarat, on Friday evening, marking a significant step toward promoting green mobility and sustainable tourism in the region. The initiative aligns with India’s broader goals of environmental protection and clean transportation under the “Green India” mission.
The electric buses, launched near the Statue of Unity — the world’s tallest statue — will enhance connectivity across Ekta Nagar and nearby tribal belts, making travel both eco-friendly and efficient for visitors and locals alike.
