JESOVA Diwali Mela 2025 Kicks Off in Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren Honors 25 Years of Social Service

Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren officially inaugurated the 5-day Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JESOVA) Diwali Mela 2025, held at the historic Morabadi Ground in Ranchi. MLA Ms. Kalpana Soren joined the event, which is being celebrated with great enthusiasm to mark JESOVA’s 25 years of dedicated service towards social upliftment.

JESOVA’s Continued Commitment to Education and Health

In his address, Mr. Soren praised JESOVA’s remarkable journey and consistent focus on public welfare since its inception. He highlighted that the primary goal of organizing the Diwali Mela is to channel the proceeds towards supporting the poor and needy, and advancing educational and health initiatives across Jharkhand. The association continues to distribute honorariums to social workers and recently inaugurated a new library, reinforcing its commitment to community development.

Chief Minister Commends JESOVA’s Social Impact

Mr. Hemant Soren extended his best wishes to the members of JESOVA, recognizing the pivotal role played by the wives of Jharkhand IAS officers in running the organization. He expressed hope that the social benefits stemming from JESOVA’s hard work will continue to reach those in need. The Chief Minister congratulated the team for the successful launch of the 2025 Diwali Mela and urged sustained efforts for social welfare.

Dignitaries Visit the Fair, Supporting the Cause

The inauguration was followed by a tour of the fair by Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren, MLA Ms. Kalpana Soren, Chief Secretary Mr. Avinash Kumar, and other senior officials. Ms. Kalpana Soren also extended her heartfelt wishes for the success of the event. The presence of department secretaries and senior officers emphasized the government’s support for JESOVA’s initiatives.

JESOVA Leadership Steers the Organization’s Vision

JESOVA President Ms. Preeti Kumar, Vice President Ms. Anita Sinha, Secretary Ms. Mami Jha, and other members were present during the event, underscoring the collaborative spirit driving the organization’s social projects.
