Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami formally launched his campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections with high-energy rallies across Siwan, Goriakothi, and Warsaliganj. Accompanied by senior BJP leaders and NDA candidates, including Ms. Aruna Devi, Mr. Deveshkant Singh, and Bihar Cabinet Minister Mr. Mangal Pandey, Mr. Dhami positioned the NDA alliance as the driver of “next-generation development” under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
Highlighting Central Welfare as a Pillar of Progress
Mr. Dhami underscored the impact of central government schemes that have significantly improved housing, infrastructure, and basic amenities across Bihar. He noted that over 8.5 crore beneficiaries have received free rations and more than 50 lakh families now have permanent housing. Speaking to women’s empowerment, Mr. Dhami pointed out that over 75 lakh women have been financially assisted under various central initiatives.
These statistics were framed not just as policy achievements, but as proof of “inclusive and sustained development under NDA governance,” aimed at lifting entire communities through targeted public service delivery.
Positioning Governance Reform as the USP
Mr. Dhami brought attention to bold legal reforms introduced in Uttarakhand—such as the Anti-Cheating Act, Anti-Conversion Act, and Anti-Riot Act—as models for disciplined, transparent governance. He stated that these laws reinforce administrative integrity and law enforcement effectiveness and could serve as templates for other states.
By drawing a direct line between Uttarakhand’s legal reforms and NDA’s governance philosophy, Mr. Dhami amplified the BJP’s broader messaging on rule of law, anti-corruption, and institutional accountability.
Alliance Synergy on Display with Top Leaders in Attendance
The rallies witnessed enthusiastic participation from grassroots BJP workers and a strong show of unity from top NDA leaders. Mr. Dhami was joined by Union Minister Mr. Pralhad Joshi, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Ms. Diya Kumari, and Member of Parliament Mr. Anurag Thakur. Their joint presence highlighted the NDA’s nationwide organisational strength and a coordinated strategy to retain and expand its mandate in Bihar.
Focus on Development and Stability in Bihar
Mr. Dhami reiterated that Bihar was poised for a “new phase of progress” if voters reaffirmed their faith in the NDA government. He pledged that continued alignment between state and central governments would enable faster execution of infrastructure projects, greater investment in social welfare, and more jobs for the youth.
His speech reflected a dual messaging strategy: showcasing Bihar’s gains under central leadership, while presenting Uttarakhand as a successful NDA-ruled state where reforms have yielded visible results.
