Days after CM Bhupesh Baghel announced that his government would constitute the State Innovation Commission with an aim to promote innovation for the development of the state, the government on Friday appointed Vivek Dhand, a former chief secretary, as its chairman. This is the second post-superannuation assignment for Mr. Dhand, who was appointed as chairman of the Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Commission (RERA) in 2018.
