NTPC Kanti won the prestigious Gold Award in CSR Excellence by APEX India, in recognition of its outstanding CSR program aimed at benefiting nearby villagers, during an event held in New Delhi. The coveted award was handed out to Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal, senior Manager (HR) at the Maharatna PSU.
NTPC Kanti has been actively involved in empowering the community through various initiatives such as bakery training, lac bangle training, mushroom training, honey bee training, and more, benefiting over 500 women to date. Additionally, NTPC Kanti has distributed approximately 200 tricycles to physically handicapped individuals, enhancing their mobility and independence. The PSU has even provided technical residential training to 20 students in Hajipur and extended educational support to 40 school students within the NTPC Kanti township, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility and community development.
NTPC Kanti remains dedicated to organising the highest standards of CSR activities and pledges to further implement sustainable and impactful policies to ensure the overall development of nearby villages and villagers.
