Shatarupa Mishra, an Indian Revenue Service officer stationed with India’s Income Tax Department in the bustling capital of New Delhi, embodies the perfect blend of professional dedication and artistic fervor. An alumnus and gold medalist in law from the prestigious Symbiosis Law School in Pune, Shatarupa’s academic journey further extended to Sweden, where she completed her Master’s in Law from Uppsala University, specializing in Comparative and International Tax Law.

Despite her impressive professional commitments, Shatarupa has adeptly handled numerous critical assignments throughout her career, all while navigating the complexities of motherhood and pursuing her lifelong passion for dance.

Shatarupa’s love for dance ignited at the tender age of four, leading her to participate in various state and national-level dance programs. By the age of nine, she began her formal training in Odissi dance under the tutelage of Guru Sh. Pitamber Biswal, following the revered Guru Deba Prasad Das style. This classical Indian dance form has been a constant source of joy and inspiration for Shatarupa, driving her to harmonize her demanding career with her artistic endeavors.
