The festival celebrates the eternal and divine love of Radha-Krishna and also signifies the triumph of good over evil. People from all parts of the country celebrate the colourful festival, which includes the traditional practices of playing with vibrant coloured powders (Gulaal) and having sweets like ‘Gujiya’.
