After having to give Holi celebrations a miss in the last two years because of Covid 19 compulsions, the festival of colours is being observed with great fervour this year all across the country and, also, by the Indian diaspora abroad. The festival celebrates the eternal and divine love of Radha-Krishna and also signifies the triumph of good over evil. People from all parts of the country celebrate the colourful festival, which includes the traditional practices of playing with vibrant coloured powders (Gulaal) and having sweets like ‘Gujiya’.

Just like in the past, this year, too, civil servants in different parts of the country observed the auspicious festival and shared their wishes and pictures on social media. We curated a list of such messages, pictures and videos for you!

First up, is an IAS officer from Haryana, who is currently serving as the Municipal Commissioner of Hisar. Mr. Ashok Garg celebrated this Holi with the underprivileged children of an NGO called ‘Prayas Sansthan’.
