HAPPY PARENTS

The proud father Hiralal, working in a government senior secondary school, said that the primary education of both the sons had their education from rural government schools and colleges. He said that when both his sons were asked by people around them to go for private tuition, both of them used to smile and say that it was not necessary. The reason they gave was if others like them could get ahead in life after studying in government schools, then why not they?

Their mother Parvati said that she did not study herself but left no stone unturned to educate her three children. She says her only prayer now is that both her sons should serve people and work honestly as officers.

PREPARATION

Both Krishna Kant Kanwaria and Rahul Kanwaria became doctors after doing MBBS in Kota. After that, they went to Delhi for UPSC preparation. They came out successful in this tough exam success of UPSC completely on self-study. However, both of them had each other to fall back on as they studied together.

Both agreed that study material should be prepared according to the UPSC syllabus. If you prepare with select books, then revision will be easy. When you revise again and again, you will be able to perform better. Focus on mock test will be beneficial, too, they said, adding that it is very important to analyse your preparation to find mistakes, correct them and try again in a better way. They also suggest After covering your syllabus completely, revise it several times. This will improve your preparation and also save time. They say that practicing answer writing is very important in UPSC right now. You can do this with self study.
