- LBSNAA organises Annual Inter House Academy Athletics Meet
Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Director, Srinivas Katikithala, declared the Annual Inter House Academy Athletics Meet open on Saturday, 21 October. Officer Trainees (OT) who got admitted for the 97th Foundation course after getting through the tough UPSC exam, participated through their respective four houses. Around 455 of them were there in the Athletics meet.
The OTs who participated in the event showed great enthusiasm, sportsman spirit and excellent coordination. During the event, various records were broken which were made in the mid 90s. This included the Long Jump record of 1995, which was broken by a jump of 5.26 meters by Gaurav.
Another record was broken in the field of high jump which was made in the year 1994. Mohit Kasania broke the record with a jump of 1.53 meters. The oath of fair play and sportsmanship was taken by all trainees before the games started.
