Despite facing several failures, including five attempts at the civil services exam, 2020-batch IAS officer Koushik H R maintained an unwavering will to succeed. He cleared the civil services exam twice. In UPSC CSE 2018 he was selected for IRS and in 2019 he got Indian Administrative Service.
In an exclusive interview with Indian Masterminds, Mr. Koushik shared how aspirants should strategically prepare for the exam, how they should study from the relevant materials, engage in multiple revisions and much more.
Previously a Tele-communication Engineer, Mr. Koushik quit his job to pursue his dream of joining the civil services. He is posted as Additional Collector, Nilgiris District and Project Director, Special Area Development Programme.
