She is a certified Company Secretary, a fitness freak, mentor to scores of UPSC aspirants, a visual story-teller, a social media champion, a devoted wife, a doting mother to two kids. and an efficient administrator.

Presenting herewith first part of the exhaustive interview. This segment is focused on Civil Services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Here she talks about her own preparation for the civil services exams and at the same time, sharing tips for lakhs of potential civil servants aspiring to clear UPSC exam.
The most important tip she shares is – to have a back up plan before going for the Civil because there is never a sure shot plan to clear this test. She herself had one when she started preparing for it in 2004. She first cleared Company Secretaryship exam, got a part time job as CS and secured admission in LLB in Delhi University before commencing UPSC preparations.
Here she also shares how she prepared, how many attempts she made to become an IAS officer and whether coaching is essential to clear the UPSC test.
