At least 28 IPS officers at the rank of Superintendent of Police want to come on central deputation and all of them belong to Karnataka cadre! Among them two are from 2014 batch and rest are from the 2012 batch of the Indian Police Service.
There are total 31 IPS officers from Karnataka who belong to the 2012 batch. So barring five, the rest of 26 officers want to serve at the centre. And if all of them get a posting at the centre, it seems Karnataka police won’t have mahority of the 2012 batch serving in the state.
