Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government promoted 5 IAS officers to different grades. All the officers have been given performa promotion as they are on central deputation.
1996-batch IAS officers Vipin Kumar and Rahul Singh have been promoted to higher administrative grade. 2005-Batch IAS officers Ajay Yadav and Kuldeep Narayan have been promoted to Super Time Scale that is at the rank of Secretary. And, the 2008-Batch IAS officer, Dr. Ashima Jain has been promoted to Special Secretary rank.
