15 officers including various IAS transferred by Maharashtra Government

Maharashtra government transferred and appointed new duties to officers

The state government of Maharashtra transferred 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on Monday, 19th October 2020, in a major bureaucratic reshuffle.

Pravin Darade, IAS officer of 1998 batch and former additional municipal commissioner of BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been given the post of managing director of Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation. On the other hand, his wife and former Food and Drugs Administration Commissioner, Mrs. Pallavi Darade, IRS officer of 1997 batch, has been posted as joint secretary, Home Department of Mantralaya (Appeal and Security).

Moreover, IAS Ashwini Joshi of the 2006 batch, has been appointed as the managing director of Maharashtra Petrochemical Corporation Limited, Mumbai.

IRS Sudhakar Shinde of 2007 batch has been appointed as the managing director, Maharashtra Petrochemical Corporation Limited, Mumbai. He is replaced by IAS officer MB Warbhuwan of the 2010 batch as the chief executive officer of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana Society, Mumbai.

Managing Director of Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation, Ms. Jayshree Bhoj of the 2003 batch is given the post of Managing Director, Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation.

AB Unhale, commissioner of the Food and Drugs Administration has been replaced by 2005-batch IAS officer AR Kale.

MS Kalshetti of the 2007 batch will take the charge of Director of Groundwater Survey Development Agency, Pune while IAS officer RB Bhosale of the 2008 batch, former additional divisional commissioner, Pune division will be appointed as the collector of Ahmednagar.

IAS officer, HP Tummod of 2008 batch has been posted as commissioner of Dairy Development whereas IAS officer KH Kulkarni of 2009 batch will be appointed as the Director of Municipal Administration, Mumbai.

2010 batch IAS officer, C K Dange, will take charge as Project Director, MSAIDS Control Society, Mumbai. Former additional Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, RS Kshirsagar, will be in charge as chief executive officer, Zila Parishad, Ahmednagar.
