Four Officials Including IPS and Non IPS Officers Given Extension in CBI

The officers who have been given the extension includes DIG Vijayendra Bidari, Anoop t Mathew, SP Ashok Kumar and SP Manoj Verma.

Four officials (IPS/Non-IPS) have been granted an extension in the CBI. As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (31.01.2023), the competent authority approved the extension of the deputation tenure for the following officers.

  1. DIG Vijayendra Bidari (IPS:2005:TN) got extension upto July 18, 2024 (total 7 years)
  2. DIG Anoop T Mathew (IPS:2006:JH) got extension upto February 11, 2025 (total 7 years)
  3. SP Ashok Kumar (IRS-C&IT:2006) got extension upto January 29, 2026 (total 7 years)
  4. SP Manoj Verma (Second-In-Command CRPF) got extension upto August 27, 2023 (5 yrs in total)
