Chandigarh: 4 IAS Officers Get Additional Charges

The Chandigarh administration announced a reshuffle on 25th May resulting in additional charges being given to four IAS officers. The changes were made after Ms. Hargunjit Kaur, who is an IAS of 2013 batch from Punjab cadre went on her Mid Career Training Programme to LBSNAA, Mussoorie .

Her charges were distributed among the officers who will take these in addition to their own duties. The officers are :

IAS officer Nitin Yadav of 2000 batch and Haryana cadre has been given charge of Secretary, Industries & Tourism in addition to his own duties.

IAS officer Vinod P Kavle of 2008 batch and AGMUT cadre has been given charge of Special Secretary, Finance, Director, Treasury & Accounts, Planning & Statistics, and Local Audit Department in addition to his own duties.

IAS officer Purva Garg of 2015 batch and AGMUT cadre has been given charge of Secretary, Personnel & Establishment in addition to her own duties.

IAS officer Rupesh Kumar of 2019 batch and AGMUT has been given charge of Secretary, Housing Allotment Committee in addition to his own duties.

While, Akhil Kumar (DANICS) has been given charge of Special Secretary, Engineering in addition to his own duties.
