As many as 21 IPS officers of 1988-batch are being empanelled to the rank of DG or equivalent in the government, as per the reports.
Officers likely to be empanelled are Atul Karwal (Guj), Manoj Yadav (Har), Anish Dayal Singh (MT), Pankaj Kumar Singh (Raj), S N Pradhan (Jhar), Sanjay Arora (TN), N K Mishra (Sikkim), U C Sarangi (MP), Zulfiquar Hasan (WB), Tapan Kumar Deka (HP), Ram Phal Pawar (WB), Manoj Kumar Lal (UT), Ravi Sinha (Chhattis), Manmohan Singh (Bihar) Praveen Sinha (Guj) and Amitabh Ranjan (MT).
