The Gujarat government has given six months extension to the incumbent Chief Secretary Anil Mukim. Mukim’s tenure was supposed to be over this month-end. With this new extension, he will serve till August 2021.
It is to be noted that Mukim was given an extension earlier also. He is a Gujarat cadre IAS officer of the 1985-batch.
