14 RAS officers promoted to IAS by GoI

14 RAS officers were promoted to the rank of IAS officers by the Government of India

In a statement issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on 22nd October 2020, the Government of India promoted and appointed 14 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) rank.

In the notice that was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, GoI, it stated that “The President is pleased to appoint the following members of the State Civil Service of Rajasthan to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by the government of India under Regulation 5(1) of the said Regulations in consultation with the state government for the Select List of 2019, on probation until further orders and to allocate them to the Rajasthan cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954.”
