The Government of Gujarat has transferred three IAS officers including R.A Merja, R.K Mehta and D.M Solanki.
The orders were issued by the Governor of Gujarat on Thursday.
R.A Merja, IAS (SCS: GUJ: 2012), District Development Officer, Patan is now transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Urban Development & Urban Housing Department for the appointment as Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad as R.K Mehta gets transferred from that position.
While, R.K Mehta, IAS (SCS:GUJ:2011), Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad is transferred and appointed as Director of Information Gandhinagar releasing DP Desai IAS of additional charge of that post.
Also, D.M Solanki, IAS (SCS:GUJ:2013), Additional Director (Development), Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gandhinagar is now transferred and appointed as the District Development Officer (DDO), Patan relieving R.A Merja, IAS.
