3 IAS Officers Transferred In West Bengal

In a minor bureaucratic rejig, the West Bengal government transferred three IAS officers which included District Collectors of Jalpaiguri and Howrah.

As per the transfer list issued by the West Bengal government, two District Collectors have been assigned with a new charge.

2012 batch IAS officer Abhishek Kumar Tiwary who was currently holding the charge as the District Collector of Jalpaiguri, has now been appointed as Joint Secretary of the State Higher Education Department.

Whereas, 2008 batch IAS officer Mukta Arya who was the DM of Howrah, has also been transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Howrah Municipal Corporation, West Bengal.

Lastly, Sujata Ghosh who was serving as Member – Secretary, West Bengal Valuation Board has been posted as Commissioner UD & MA Department.
