In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rajasthan government led by Mr. Ashok Gehlot has transferred 11 IAS and 5 IPS officers with immediate effect.
IPS officer B L Soni, who was previously serving as the Director-General of Police (Prison) has been transferred and appointed as DG Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). He has filled the vacant seat after ex-DG Alok Tripathy retired.
Rajeev Dosot, DG Home Security has replaced B L Soni as the DG Prison. Whereas, Utkal Rajan Sahoo has replaced Dasot as the new DG, Home Security.
Both district collector and SP of Dungapur have been transferred by the Rajasthan government and this comes after the recent violence and unrest over teachers’ recruitment issue.
Among other officers who got transferred were, Arpana Arora, Roli Singh, Hemant Kumar Gera, Vikas Sitaramji Bhale, Manju Rajpal, Siddharth Mahajan, P. Ramesh, Rohit Gupta, Vishwa Mohan Sharma, and Suresh Kumar Ola.
