With the upcoming Panchayat Election in the state, the UP government has transferred a total of 18 IAS officers serving at various positions in the administration. The order was issued on Tuesday 2 March 2021.
The officers who have been transferred consists of six District Magistrates and Commissioners of four divisions.
R Ramesh Kumar has been appointed as the Commissioner of Bareilly, while Ananjay Kumar Singh has been made the Commissioner of Moradabad Division.
2005 batch IAS officer Surendra Singh has been appointed as the Commissioner of Meerut. Whereas, Sanjay Goyal has been made the Commissioner of Prayagraj Division.
IAS officer Deepa Ranjan has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Badaun district, whereas, Ravindra Mandar has been posted as DM Rampur.
Soumya Aggarwal has been made the District Magistrate of Basti. Ashutosh Niranjan has been appointed DM of Deoria while Jitendra Kumar Singh has been made DM of Kanpur Dehat.
