The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has given ordered of transfer and postings of senior IAS officers at the Centre. IAS officer Tarun Kapoor has been posted as Advisor to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, in the rank and scale of Secretary to Government of India, initially for a period of two years from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier, as per the usual terms and conditions as are applicable.
IAS officer Hari Ranjan Rao, currently Administrator, Universal Services Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications was posted as Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office for the balance tenure of his Central deputation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. While Atish Chandra, CMD, Food Corporation of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution was posted as Additional Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office for the remaining tenure of his Central deputation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
