2009 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre, Asaram Muthukumar has been appointed as Private Secretary to Dr. Suman K Bery, Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Muthukumar to the post of Private Secretary with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post on co-terminus basis with the Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
