The Assam government issued a transfer order of six IAS officers in the state. As per the notification six top officials who are holding the posts of Secretaries, deputy commissioners and other top positions have been transferred.
Varnali Deka, Secretary to the government of Assam, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department has now been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar.
Whereas Megha Nidhi Dahal, who was the Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar is transferred to Sivasagar district in the same capacity. The next name on the list is IAS officer Bishnu Kamal Borah. He was currently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar and now has been transferred as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Information and Public Relations Department.
While Anupam Chaudhury, previously Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Information and Public Relations Department has been transferred to Hojai as Deputy commissioner. And Sadnek Singh, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Hojai will now report to the Personnel Department for his posting.
Lastly, Mr. Ghanshyam Dass, Secretary to CM of Assam has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam for Social Welfare Department.
