14 officers of the Indian Administrative Service have been promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary (Junior Administrative Grade). 11 District Magistrates are also included among those who have been promoted. While the officers of the year 2012 batch have been promoted from January 1, 2021, the officers of the 2013 batch have been promoted with effect from January 1, 2022. The General Administration Department issued its notification on Thursday.
Among those who have been promoted to Additional Secretary are 2012 batch officers and Saharsa DM Kaushal Kumar, West Champaran DM Kundan Kumar, Sheikhpura DM Inayat Khan, Begusarai DM Arvind Kumar Verma, Sitamarhi DM Sunil Kumar Yadav and Madhubani DM Amit Kumar are included.
At the same time, 2013 batch IAS officer and Nalanda DM Yogendra Singh, Gopalganj DM Naval Kishore Chaudhary, Bhagalpur DM Subrata Kumar Sen, Road Construction Joint Secretary Shailja Sharma, Rohtas DM Dharmendra Kumar, Kaimur DM Navdeep Shukla, Labor Commissioner Anand Sharma, joint secretary of Ranjita and Cooperation Department, has also been promoted to additional secretary.
