Four IAS Officers Transferred in Odisha, Vir Vikram Yadav as Chief Administrator, SJTA

Mr. Krishan Kumar appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Nikunja Kumar Sundaray is appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Public Enterprises Department.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik led Government of Odisha issued an order of transfer and appointments of 5 senior IAS Officers. As per the orders senior IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav has been appointed as new Chief Administrator of Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA). Mr. Yadav, is 1996 batch IAS officer who also will handle the administrative affairs of State Food and Supplies and Works departments. Mr. Yadav will also be responsible as the Commissioner of Trade Promotion and Investment, O/o CRC, Member Secretary, Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes and Chairman OSWC in addition to his own duties.

A 2002 batch IAS officer Mr. Krishan Kumar who was serving as the Chief Administrator, SJTA has been relived from the State government to join as the Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry for a tenure of five years. IAS officer Nikunja Kumar Sundaray is given the charge of the Additional Chief Secretary to Public Enterprises Department.

Shubham Saxena, (IAS 2013) Director, Minor Minerals has been appointed as Managing Director, Odisha Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. Saxena will also look after his additional charge of Director, Minor Minerals, Joint Secretary to Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department and Joint Secretary to Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department in addition to his own duties
