In a Minor reshuffle the state government of Haryana has appointed Hema Sharma as the Additional Chief Electoral officer. She will be replacing Jaibir Singh Arya and will be taking the charge with immediate effect. An ordering regarding this was issued on 11th October by the Chief Secretary of the state.
Ms. Sharma was a state civil service officer of 2010 batch who was promoted to IAS. She was currently the Special Secretary to Government, Haryana Finance department. Additionally, she was also the Managing Director of Haryana Backward classes and economically weaker sections Kalyan Nigam. She has also been assigned with the role as DC of various areas including Panipat.
