On Monday, the official order was issued by the Union Home Ministry regarding the transfer of Mr. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri to the Union Territory. It is the first formal order of the Union Home Ministry which has been issued two years after the formation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. After the release of the order, we see that the first time the Union Territory cadre IAS officer has been transferred to Jammu & Kashmir UT.
The order was issued by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary, Union Home Ministry. The order states that a senior IAS officer of the 2005 batch Mr. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory. Earlier he was holding the responsibility of Joint Secretary in the Central Government.
