In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Jharkhand, the Hemant Soren government has transferred many IAS officers. IAS Rahul Kumar Sharma has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Governor, while IAS officer Shashi Ranjan has been made Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi.
A Dodde has been made DC of Palamu, while Bhor Singh Yadav has been made DC of Latehar.
It is noteworthy that current Ranchi DC, IAS officer Chhavi Ranjan was in discussion in many matters during his tenure.
The other transfers made by the state government are as follows-
IAS officer Abu Imran became Chatra DC, while Nitin Madan Kulkarni has been appointed as the chairman of the State Finance Commission. Rahul Sharma became the Principal Secretary to the Governor. Praveen Toppo became the Commissioner of South Chotanagpur. K Srinivasan appointed as Secretary, Labor Department. Kamleshwar Prasad Singh became the Excise Commissioner, Chandra Prakash Oraon became the Commissioner of Santhal Pargana. Mukesh Kumar appointed as Tribal Welfare Commissioner. Amit Kumar became the director of Khan, Chhavi Ranjan became the director of social welfare. VP Singh became the campaign director of the National Health Mission. Aditya Kumar Anand became the Director Urban Administration.
