The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Mr. Anil Baijal has issued official order regarding the transfer of seven senior IAS officers in Delhi, on Monday. The official order states that senior IAS officer of the 2007 batch Mr. Udit Prakash Rai has been transferred and posted as CEO of Delhi Jal Board with the additional charge of Special Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department. Earlier he was posted as Director of Education. He was also holding the additional charge of MD, DSFDC Ltd., Special Secretary, Department of H&FW and Project Director of CATS. He replaced incumbent officer Mr. Vijay Kumar Bidhudi. Whereas IAS officer of 2012 batch Mr. Himanshu Gupta has been appointed as Director of Education with Additional Charges of Health & Family Welfare Department, MD, DSFDC Ltd. and Project Director (CATS). Earlier he was posted as Deputy Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Senior IAS officer of 2000 batch Mr. Madhup Vyas, Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Development) holding Additional Charge of Secretary, Women & Child Development (WCD) department shall also hold the Additional Charge of Secretary (Social Welfare). While Ms. Dilraj Kaur, Secretary (PWD) shall also hold the Additional Charge of Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC) Department. Whereas Ms. Garima Gupta has been transferred and posted as CEO (DUSIB) with the Additional Charge of Secretary I&P. While Senior IAS officer of 2003 batch Ms. Swati Sharma has been given the Additional Charge of Secretary Health and Family Welfare. Presently she is posted as Secretary (Tourism) and she is also the Additional Charge of Secretary Art, Culture and Language (ACL) and MD (DT&TDC).
Besides this, Mr. Neeraj Semwal has been posted as Secretary-cum-Commissioner (F&S) with the Additional Charge of CMD (DSCSC). He will also hold the Additional Charge of MD, DTC relieving incumbent IAS officer Mr. Ashish Kundra, who was holding the additional charge of the post. Earlier he was waiting for his posting orders.
