The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (21.03.2022) notified the appointments of eight SP-level IPS officers to DIG level posts in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D). They have been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and up to the tenure mention against each and until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The names of the officers who are appointed in the NIA are as follows:
- Amit Singh (IPS:2007:KN) for a tenure up to 26.09.2024
- Ms. Uma (IPS:2007:KL) for a tenure up to 26.11.2024
- Vikram Khalate (IPS:2008:NL) for a tenure up to 06.09.2022
- Tejinder Singh (IPS:2008:AGMUT/JK) for a tenure up to 17.02.2025
- Ms. Jyoti Priya Singh (IPS:2008:MH) for a tenure up to 04.03.2024
The names of the officers who are appointed in the BPR&D are as follows:
- Anshuman Singh (IPS:2006:MP) for a tenure up to 11.11.2023
- Dr. Amandeep Singh Kapoor (IPS:2007:RJ) for a tenure up to 15.08.2026
- Ms. Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi (IPS:2008:GJ) for a tenure up to 12.08.2022
