Punjab Government has transferred and posted four IAS officers in the state. Their names and postings are:
- 1989 batch IAS officer Kripa Shankar Saroj who is the Additional Chief Secretary, NRI Affairs Secretary and in addition Additional Chief Defence Services Welfare has been transferred to Additional Chief Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development.
- 1991 batch IAS officer Seema Jain who is the Additional Chief Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training relieving Nilkanth S. Avhad, IAS of the additional charge.
- 1994 batch IAS officer JM Balamurugan, who is available for posted has been posted as Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare and in addition Principal Secretary, NRI Affairs in place of Kripa Shankar Saroj, IAS
- 1997 batch IAS officer Rahul Bhandari, who is the Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and in addition Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation and in addition Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations has been posted as Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and in addition Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation and in addition Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations and in addition Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi against a vacant post.
