Punjab: 22 IAS Officers Transferred; Read the List

The Punjab government has transferred 22 IAS officers in the state with immediate effect. Their names and postings are as follows:

1988 batch IAS-officer Ravneet Kaur who has been posted as special chief secretary, food processing, with additional charge of jails replacing Anurag Agarwal, who has been posted in her place as additional chief secretary (ACS), cooperation, with additional charge as ACS parliamentary affairs, along with the charge as ACS elections.

Services of IAS officer Malwinder Singh Jaggi has been placed at the disposal of the department of local bodies for posting as chief executive officer of Punjab water supply and sewerage board against a vacant post, and the services of Vipul Ujwal has been placed at the disposals of transport department for posting as managing director, PRTC, replacing Poonamdeep Kaur, according to the official order.

IAS officer Harish Nayar has been transferred as special secretary, public works department, Vimal Setia as registrar, cooperative societies, Sandeep Hans as special secretary, general administration and coordination, with additional charge as special secretary, printing and stationery, replacing Senu Duggal, who has been posted as deputy commissioner, Fazilka, with additional charge as commissioner, municipal corporation, Abohar, and Kumar Saurabh Raj as special secretary, home affairs and justice, relieving Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu. Mohammad Ishfaq has been appointed as special secretary, water supply and sanitation, with additional charge as head of department of water supply and sanitation, replacing Vipul Ujwal.

IAS officer Poonamdeep Kaur has been appointed as Barnala DC replacing Harish Nayar and Komal Mittal as Hoshiarpur DC with additional charge as commissioner, municipal commissioner, Hoshiarpur, replacing Sandeep Hans.

IAS officer Rishi Pal Singh has been transferred as Tarn Taran DC in place of Moneesh Kumar, who has been transferred as state transport commissioner replacing VK Setia. Himanshu Aggarwal has been transferred as Gurdaspur DC replacing Ishfaq.

Pallavi has been transferred as ADC (general), Bathinda, in place of Rahul, Uma Shankar Gupta as director, local bodies, and the services of Sandeep Rishi has been placed before local bodies department to be posted as commissioner municipal corporation, Amritsar.

According to the orders, the services of Rahul has been placed at the disposal of department of local bodies to be posted commissioner municipal corporation, Bathinda, in place of Pallavi, Gautam Jain as chief administrator, Patiala development authority, with additional charge as additional deputy commissioner (urban development), Patiala, against a vacant post and Ravinder Singh has been posted Muktsar, replacing Mandeep Kaur. He has also been given the additional charge as ADC (general).
