In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, Punjab government has transferred 5 IAS officers with immediate effect.
2005-Batch IAS officer Malwinder Singh Jaggi has been posted as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority, SAS Nagar. He will also hold the additional charge of Director, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities.
2009-Batch IAS officer 2009-Batch IAS Vipul Ujjwal will continue with the charge of Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development. He will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and Special Secretary, Social Security, Women and Child Development.
2010-Batch IAS officer Devinder Singh has been appointed as Special Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice with the additional charge of Executive Director, Punjab Stats Scheduled Castes Land Development & Finance Corporation. He will also hold the charge of Executive Director, Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation (BACKFINCO).
Puneet Goyal, a batchmate of Singh has also been transferred and posted as Director, Local Government with the additional charge of Managing Director, Sugarfed.
Lastly, Bhupinder Pal Singh gets the charge of Special Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation
